What happens if I fall behind on my subscription payments?
An active subscription is required to access and use the Sawyer for Business software and provider portal. All Sawyer for Business subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly or yearly basis. The subscription will always be charged to the payment method that is attached to the user email that subscribed. If you fall behind on your subscription, you risk losing access to your account and ultimately having it shut down altogether.
What happens when a payment fails?
If a payment fails you will be notified and the payment will be automatically retried.
What can I do if my payment method is failing?
You can always update your payment method from your My Account portal, here: https://www.hisawyer.com/account/settings
Make sure that you’re signed into hisawyer.com with the user email that is connected to your subscription. If you’re unsure which email address is connected to your subscription or you have any other questions about your subscription, please reach out to support@hisawyer.com.
What if my payment fails repeatedly?
If your account subscription is still past due after several weeks, your access to your Sawyer for Business portal will be suspended.
If your account is suspended for this reason, you will have one month to remedy all amounts owed; your account access will be restored provided that you resolve all outstanding balances during this time. Alternatively, if you owe missed subscription payments after a month of your account being suspended for this reason, your account will be permanently closed.
What if I can’t afford my subscription right now?
If cost is ever an issue for you, please let us know as soon as possible. We have some options that we can explore to make your subscription more affordable (for example downgrading your account to a lower cost subscription or moving to a discounted annual fee) or we can pause your subscription to reduce your cost and preserve your account setup and historical data.
Please contact Sawyer via support@hisawyer.com if you want to explore any of these options, if you need help resolving any subscription issues, or if you have any other questions.
