📝 Overview
Add-ons let you charge additional amounts to customers when they purchase activities. They help you customize your scheduled activities and create flexible pricing options.
You can offer four types of add-ons:
Extended Services — Early Drop-Off, Extended Day, and After School Pick-Up options that customers select during checkout
Optional Add-ons — Items customers choose whether to purchase (t-shirts, snacks, art supplies, etc.)
Required Fees — Automatic charges applied to every child in an order (registration fees, materials fees, etc.)
Sibling Discounts — Tiered percentage discounts when multiple siblings enroll in the same class
🛠️ Setting Up Add-Ons
⚠️ Add-ons are configured in Step 3 of your scheduled activity setup. Each add-on type has its own section with specific options.
To review scheduled activity setup, review the article below:
💡 Pricing Dependencies - Each add-on is dependent on your activity's pricing options. If your activity has both a semester price and a drop-in price, you'll have options to offer the add-on on a per-day, per-semester, or both basis. Per-day add-ons are not available for Monthly Pricing.

Accepting Donations
The software doesn't have a built-in donation feature, but many providers use Optional Add-Ons as a workaround to accept voluntary contributions from customers.
⚠️ If you plan to accept donations, make sure you're following any relevant rules and regulations related to accepting donations in your area.
Click here to learn how to use add-ons to accept donations
Click here to learn how to use add-ons to accept donations
Create an optional add-on and name it Donation, Voluntary Contribution, or something similar
Set a price for the donation amount
Add it to your activity's add-on section
Customers will see the option during checkout and can choose whether to donate
Multiple donation amounts: If you want to offer customers different donation levels (example: $1, $5, $10, $20), create each amount as a separate optional add-on. Customers can then choose which donation level they prefer.
"Pay What You Can" Pricing Model
Some providers schedule free activities and allow customers to choose what they want to pay using Optional Add-Ons. This allows families to pay what they can to support your business. This flexible approach works well for community programs, fundraisers, or pay-as-you-go offerings.

Create a scheduled activity with $0 cost

Customers can choose to pay any amount or skip the add-on entirely
