Setting up banking and subscription

When you log into your Sawyer account for the first time, you'll see a red banner at the top of the page that says Set up your bank account. When you're ready to connect your bank account, click Set Up Banking on this banner. You'll need to connect your bank and verify your business with Stripe to start taking payments.

Connect your bank account to Sawyer

  1. If you haven't clicked on the Set up Banking button, you can also Navigate to Financials > Banking

  2. You will be prompted with a launch page to start the process in Stripe:

Please note: In order to update or change your banking information, you must contact our Support Team. We now have a requirement to verify account ownership when editing bank information to ensure that you are the rightful owner. Please reach out to [email protected] to turn on the functionality for your account when you need to update your bank account.

Set up Stripe

  1. As soon as you click β€œGet Started”, your Stripe account is created within Stripe (in the background) and you will be asked to enter your email and phone number

2. You will then receive a verification code to enter.

Next, you will be asked some additional questions about your business for verification. Note that none of this information will appear publicly and is only used for your account verification within Stripe.

Once you've added all your details within Stripe, click Submit and it will bring you back to your Sawyer account.

You will receive the following confirmation that you've completed the verification:

When your bank account has been verified, you'll see three green checkboxes across the top of your Business Account > Banking page:

Set up Subscription

To setup your monthly subscription payments:

  1. Click on the name of your business at the top right of your Sawyer for Business provider portal

  2. Select Business Account

  3. Navigate to Subscription

  4. Add your credit card information

  5. Click Subscribe

**Note that it sometimes takes a minute to update, so if you don't notice the green checkboxes right away, try refreshing the page a couple of times.
