Our latest reporting release is here! With our Reporting Dashboards 2.0 release, you can now explore available data sets to get key answers and insights about your business. As we continue to make improvements and add additional data sets to our dashboards, you can use this guide to help understand the underlying data used to populate each visualization.
Each page or tab for a dashboard is called a workbook. On the workbook tab, you’ll see data tables that contain multiple columns as well as available filtering options. While many of these available data fields do exist across legacy reporting options in Sawyer, the calculations or output may not be the same as it is in another report. These reports seek to offer additional data insights that were not previously included. Therefore, there may be discrepancies when comparing different reporting metrics.
If you have any questions about the data contained in a report, we encourage you to use this guide to learn more about the potential differences in calculations or data field definitions while reviewing the sample data provided. We're created a resource guide that provides an explanation of each data set and column as well as a line of sample data from the unique report so you can see how the different fields will display.
To learn more about ways to explore the data in V2 of our Dashboards, we recommend diving in to our How to Guides.
What’s to come:
While this is an exciting first step towards releasing improved reporting functionality, there will still be future improvements made. This is simply phase one, not the final version of reports. We have plans to add additional views and exports over time as we continue to improve the overall analytics experience on Sawyer and incorporate feedback from our provider community.
Collecting feedback:
If you experience any issues while exploring the new reporting features, simply go to Settings and turn off the new beta access to restore V1 of dashboards. As feedback is extremely valuable to us during this process, we will be working closely with our team to gather suggestions and feedback.
