When you add or update a payment method on a client's behalf, the card you save will automatically become their default payment method. The client will also receive an email notification any time their payment information is updated.

  1. Log in to your provider portal.

  2. Navigate to Contacts.

  3. Select an existing client's profile.

  4. Under the Profile tab scroll down to locate the Payment Methods section.

  5. Select + Add Card.

  6. Enter the card information.

  7. Select Save Card.

  1. Log in to your provider portal.

  2. Navigate to Contacts.

  3. Select the client's profile.

  4. Locate the Payment Methods section.

  5. Select the three-dot menu (...) to the right of the card you'd like to set as the default. Select Make Default.

  6. In the confirmation window, select Accept to confirm or Cancel to discard the change. The client will receive an email notification confirming that their default payment method has been updated.
