Need help understanding how appointments work? You’re in the right place. Please reach out to support@hisawyer.com with any additional questions.
What are appointments?
Appointments are scheduled activities that allow customers to select and book specific dates and times for 1:1 booking types! This type of activity is perfect for one-on-one lessons, activities, tutorials, and more.
What can I use appointments for?
Appointments are great for providers who want to offer private lessons and individualized classes for students. You can use appointments to fill gaps in your schedule, give instructors more hours to work with students, and offer enrichment activities on a private basis. It's important to note, appointments can not be set up for adult-aged classes at this point.
Can I set a minimum required number of appointments?
Yes! You'll be able to do this when scheduling an appointment.
What's the minimum amount of time I can set an appointment for?
At a minimum, appointments can only be set up for 30 mins increments of time.
Can parents book recurring appointments?
Appointments are not automatically recurring. However, parents can effectively sign up for recurring appointments by purchasing multiple appointment slots in one shopping cart experience.
Can I offer group appointments?
Right now, appointments are limited to one instructor and one student.
How can I place an order on behalf of a customer?
You can use the new Available tab on the Upcoming calendar. Learn more here.
How do I differentiate between camps/events, semester-length activities, and appointments in Sawyer?
You can differentiate between different schedule types in a few different ways. When scheduling an activity as an appointment, you'll see each schedule type broken out by section in the Sawyer navigation sidebar. When viewing your calendar, you'll see that appointments are displayed in a white box whereas other scheduled activities appear in brightly colored boxes.
