Online Activity Order Confirmations
Order confirmations for online activities are just like standard Sawyer email confirmation emails.
Reminder Email
Registered parents will receive an email containing the access instructions and class link 30-45 minutes prior to an activity's start time. You must input the Class Link at least one hour before your activity begins — we suggest adding links well in advance.
This email is scheduled upon checkout, so modifications to the date/time of a scheduled activity do not impact the time at which the reminder email is sent.
Modifications to the Class Link and Access Instructions more than 60 minutes prior to a class start time will be included in the reminder email.
Reminder email details
- Email Subject: Starting soon! [Activity Name] is about to begin
- Email contains a Join Activity button that directs to the Class Link
- Email contains the access instructions text
Important note: If an activity has no associated Class Link, then the “Starting soon” email is not sent.

NEW Email Verification Settings for Online Activities
If you've turned on the Email Verification Settings for Online Activities, a customer's account will need to be verified in order for them to access the online class link and joining details.
If a customer is registered for an online activity and your business has turned on this setting, you will have visibility into their verification status on the following pages:
- Activity Roster - Unverified participants will display a label on the roster and in the messaging portal.
- Client Profile - Email status will show as Verified or Unverified on the Client contact page.
A customer will also be alerted through the registration process if they have not yet verified their account to ensure deliverability of the online activity link.
