Introducing Activity Auto-Reminder Emails!
Your customers can now be automatically notified ahead of their scheduled program, so they never miss an upcoming activity.
Here are some simple steps to turn on this feature:
- Once you've logged into your account, navigate to the top right profile button and click on Settings in the drop down menu.
- Click on the Email tab
- By default the feature is turned off. To enable it, toggle on the Activity Reminder Email option
3. NEW! When enabled, the email will be sent out 24 hours before the activity start time for each activity instance or weekly.
- When Before every activity instance is selected, the email will be sent out 24 hours before the activity start time
- When Weekly reminder is selected, the email will be sent out on Monday at midnight ET (12:00AM ET)
Please note that currently, the feature does not allow you to customize the following:
- The timing of the email
- The email and its content
- Notification preferences for other emails
We hope this feature will help reduce the manual work needed to run your business and assist in easy communication with your customers!
Parent/Client experience
- The email address of the client associated with the activity booking(s) will receive an email reminder that someone is registered.
- The email will only be sent to the client (not to the secondary contact or the caregiver).
- The email will be sent per registered participant. If more than one participant is registered under the same client such as siblings, for example, the client will receive multiple emails.
- The email lists the activity name, registered participant name, date and time of the instance, location, and the instructor name. It also will mention access information if it is an online class.
- If the email is set to weekly, it will be sent once a week (Monday at 12AM ET) and include activities through the following Sunday.

Your customers will be able to control whether or not they receive the auto reminder emails in the Notification Preferences page.
They will need to log into their Sawyer account and go to the Account page to find their Notifications here:
